John Kay Developments Limited (“we”, “us”) is a residential development consultancy registered in England & Wales (Company No. 04319325). We operate remotely and serve clients across Germany, with a local office in Berlin. For any privacy matter, contact support@johnkaydevelopments.org.

2 · What we collect

• Enquiry data — name, email address, phone number and project details you send through our contact form or by email.
• Engagement data — documents relating to sites and projects when we work together (plans, appraisals, correspondence).
• Technical data — standard server logs processed by our hosting provider for security and availability.

3 · Why we process it

We process personal data on the basis of: performance of a contract (running your engagement), legitimate interests (responding to enquiries, securing the website), compliance with legal obligations (company and tax records), and consent where applicable.

4 · Sharing

We never sell personal data. We share it only with service providers essential to running the consultancy (email, hosting, accounting), under data-processing agreements, and with professional advisers where the engagement requires it.

5 · Retention

Enquiry correspondence is kept for up to 24 months. Engagement records are kept for six years in line with UK tax and company law requirements.

6 · Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise any right, email support@johnkaydevelopments.org. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

7 · Security

We store documents in access-controlled cloud services with encryption in transit and at rest, and review access permissions regularly.
